The Emergency Department of Boyd Healthcare Services is located at the Thomas H. Boyd Memorial Hospital location. The medical staff provide care for life threatening emergencies as well as less urgent medical needs.  We will make every effort to transfer patients to a facility of their choice upon request.

Boyd Healthcare Services is an active participant in the Prairie Cardiovascular "STAT Heart" program for heart attack victims, one of the largest networks in Illinois.  We are also active participants in the "STAT Stroke" program which ensures a quick response and rapid transport to a facility of higher care when Stroke Symptoms are present.

Our Emergency Department providers act as the facility "Hospitalist" which allows a patient to be admitted even if your provider is unavailable.
