July 8, 2016 | Posted by Community Relations

Several staff members of Boyd Healthcare Services took part in a continuing education class Thursday, June 30, 2016 presented by SSM Cardinal Glennon about the latest techniques and practices regarding unforeseen birth and newborn stabilization.  The class, taught by Shelby Cox, NR EMT-P and Terry Cueller, RN MN CCRN, both with the Pediatric Outreach Program, was provided for nursing staff, emergency medical services staff, area first responders, and students of Lewis and Clark’s Paramedic program.  The class focused on education components and provided the participants a “hands-on” simulation to practice skills taught in the class.
